Having started at Carrick from the beginning of his career after shifting from a path toward chartered accountancy to a Bachelor of Commerce in Business, he has steadily worked his way up to lead Carrick’s Mauritius office, advising clients across the globe. His leadership style is defined by high standards, fairness, and firm support. As a Private Wealth Manager, Jarryd is known for combining strategic insight with a deep commitment to service. He builds strong, enduring relationships with his clients, taking the time to understand what truly matters to them. Often found in a full suit and working more than 12-hour days to accommodate clients across time zones, he believes in earning trust the hard way – through consistency, fairness, and results.

Jarryd is a rare blend of old-school manners and modern strategic thinking. A fierce competitor by nature, he has represented South Africa internationally in cross-country, canoeing, and polocrosse. He enjoys scuba diving and has achieved dive master status. He also holds the necessary qualifications to advise clients in the United States.
